"Every one thousand years, one hundred mamodos (魔物, mamono, "demon" in Japanese) descend upon Earth to conduct the ultimate battle. The winning mamodo becomes the mighty King of the Mamodo World (魔界, Makai, "Demon World"). There is only one problem - in order for the mamodo to use their powerful spell books, they need a human partner. If his spell book is destroyed, the mamodo disintegrates and returns to the Mamodo World." Join The Mamodo Battle! Tutorial
Kanchomé is an anthropomorphic duck-like mamodo, accompanied by the Italian superstar Parco Folgore. The two major characters allied themselves with the main protagonists Zatch Bell and Kiyo Takamaine and friends to reach the end of the battle together. With the yellow spellbook held by Parco Folgore, Kanchomé has been shown to cast illusion magic and shapeshifting magic.

A lot of pages that had lists have been moved to a proper category page of a similar name (though, by doing so, this is why if you've noticed why the page counter decreased, other than some pages that had to be deleted). The full list of anime episodes can now be found in Category:Episodes (moved from List of Zatch Bell! episodes) and the full list of manga chapters can now be found in Category:Chapters (moved from List of Zatch Bell! chapters). Speaking of manga chapters, a new template is being tested for the list of chapters to include Japanese titles (with translations), English titles and release dates, volume IDs, and English VIZ volume covers in addition to Japanese covers. This new template will eventually replace the existing Volume template once the entire Chapters page is complete. However, for manga volumes without a VIZ release, either the existing test template would need more work to exclude English cells or a new template would have to be made for Japanese-only volumes. Also, the Episode Infobox has been updated to include Japanese titles and translations, next and previous episode, and even official links to view the English episodes legally.

Regarding to the names of the spells on Wiki, which localized transliteration of spells would you rather see in the article titles: English transliterations or the rōmaji of the Japanese names? (i.e. Zaker/Zakeru, Rashield/Rashirudo, Jikirdo/Uirudo, Jikirga/Jikiruga) - NOTE: The English dub's spell terminology can look pretty messy and oddly translated (i.e. Jikirdo/Uirudo, Akuruk/Akurouku) and because of that, the power meanings of some spell phrases that were identified (i.e. jirik(u) for wind, ruk(u) usually for self/user-based) wouldn't make sense transliterated in the English dub. Plus, there are some English spells that were retransliterated for the card game (i.e. "Aku Rouk" for the spell Akuruk/Akurouku). On July 1, 2017, all spell pages will be renamed over time to the majority of the selected votes.
